Hey, aren't the railways just great?
They say life is a journey. And on British Railways, our lives seem to last longer than ever.
Our journeys have never been so varied and unpredictable.
We are so lucky to live in a country that provides a railway experience that is so life affirming.
Many is the time that I've emerged from the ticket barrier at Waterloo station, thinking how lucky I am to be alive.
Remember, whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. And there are plenty of challenges facing us along our journey, that could make or break us. We should be so grateful for everything that comes our way. be it a mugger, a care in the community psychopath or just a plain old fatal train crash caused by corporate negligence.
They make us what we are today. And if you are miserable, well I'm sorry, but that's your fault.
We have a railway system in this country that is the envy of the world.
So let's celebrate it.
